Mary married Charles Newbold HIBBITT on December 7th in the Parish Church of Claines in the County of Worcester in 1862. According to the Marriage Certificate, witnesses at the wedding were John PITCHER and Sarah Elizabeth PITCHER, most probably Mary's brother and sister. Mary's father, Daniel PITCHER, and Charles' father, Amos HIBBITT, are both recorded as being farmers whilst Charles was a painter. The minister who took the service was W Crowther and Mary and Charles are both recorded as living in Moor Street. There is a Moor Street in the nearby city of Worcester which was in the parish of Claines at that time.
