Esther and John FREE had two sons in Hadstock, also in Essex. After John died in 1728, Esther remarried within four years, this time to a John PEARSON. The Hadstock Parish Records state...

"Marriages AD 1732
John Pearson singleman & Easter Free Widow both of this Parish were married July the 1st"

Esther may have been pregnant when they married as the couple's daughter was baptized in December of the same year. Esther and John PEARSON also had a son in 1739. Her husband most likely died in 1752 and Esther probably died in 1769. The Hadstock Parish Records show the following entry...

"1769
Widow Pearson was buried July 11th Affidavit made the same day"
